WE ARE NOT WALKING ALONE
Another monthly reporting period has just come to an end.
Against the backdrop of less-than-satisfactory business results, there are days when work seems to become heavier than usual: results have not met expectations, deadlines keep coming one after another, differences of opinion arise, “difficult” tasks remain unfinished, and there are bottlenecks that we have yet to find a way to resolve.
Have any of us ever thought about giving up, even just once? Or at the very least, felt that work was becoming truly overwhelming?
I have felt that way too.
Sometimes, I still do.
And perhaps, as we continue on the journey ahead, there will be times when we feel that way again. 😊
But then, I look at my “Boss.”
Someone who is over 60 years old, yet still works hard every day, every hour, facing difficulties, pressure, and problems that are far from simple. There are times when he even has to step up, take responsibility for, and deal with the mistakes and errors of us—the people working under him.
Then I look at the colleagues around me.
Each person has their own work, their own pressures, and their own story. Yet everyone continues to work hard, solve problems together, support one another through difficulties, and remain optimistic about the future.
And I realize:
I am not walking alone.
When I see the people around me staying steadfast, continuing to make an effort, and courageously moving forward through difficult times, I remind myself not to be easily discouraged.
Every day I go to work, I feel grateful that I have never had to work alone.
By my side, there are always colleagues—who are also teammates—ready to stand alongside me.
Ahead of me, there are always respected and trusted people to guide the way.
Perhaps today we have not yet seen the results we hoped for.
Perhaps there are still issues that have not been resolved.
But I believe that difficulties will eventually pass, the pressure will gradually ease, and the efforts we make today will bear fruit someday.
Growth at work is sometimes not simply about how far we have advanced in our careers or how good our income is.
Sometimes, growth means:
How courageous we have been in facing difficulties, how persistent we have remained when things have not gone as we hoped, and most importantly—we did not give up.
Today, I would like to express my gratitude to my “Boss.”
Thank you for once again being a role model for me to learn from—not only in my work, but also in the way you face difficulties and keep moving forward.
And I would also like to send a message to my “Boss”:
“You are not walking alone either.
We will always be here, standing by your side.”
And I believe that it is not only us, but all of us—the people working together under the same Sông Lam roof—will continue moving forward together.
Difficulties may make the journey longer, but when we walk together, no one has to walk alone.
Does everyone know who my “Boss” is? 😊
If you do, what impression has this person left on you?
Please share in the comments so that we can connect with one another and better understand the people who are walking alongside us!
Wishing everyone a wonderful weekend filled with joy and energy, and meaningful time with your family and loved ones! 🌿😊
